How and when do I get paid?

Weekly payouts, every Monday, for orders completed and approved by the previous Sunday. We pay via PayPal, Wise (formerly TransferWise), Payoneer, or direct bank transfer (in supported countries). No payment is held back, no rolling reserves.

How is my per-page rate determined?

Three factors: your tier (writers move up tiers as they complete orders successfully), the subject (specialized fields like programming and finance pay more), and the deadline (rush orders pay 50–100% premium). New writers typically start at $8–11/page; top-tier writers earn $20–25/page on rush PhD orders.

Can I work from any country?

Yes — we have writers in 40+ countries. The only requirement is reliable internet and the ability to communicate in clear English. Tax compliance is your responsibility in your country of residence; we provide annual income summaries you can use for filing.

What's the writing test like?

A short timed assignment (~500 words, 1 hour) in your subject area. We give you a topic, you write a clear, well-cited response. We're checking for academic writing fluency, citation accuracy, and analytical depth — not perfect prose. Most qualified applicants pass.

Do I have to take orders I don't want?

No. You browse available orders matching your subjects and pick the ones you want. Declining an order has zero penalty. The only way to lose your spot is consistent late delivery or quality issues — both of which are flagged early with a chance to improve.

What if a client requests revisions?

Revisions within the original brief are part of the order — no extra payment, but no penalty either. If the client expands the scope significantly (new requirements not in the original brief), our team lead negotiates a scope-change fee that goes to you. You're never asked to do uncompensated extra work.

Is this a full-time replacement income?

For some writers, yes. Top writers earn $2.5K–3.5K/month working 30+ hours a week. For most, it's part-time supplementary income ($800–1.8K/month at 15–25 hours/week). Income depends on your tier, hours, and subject — use the calculator above for a realistic estimate.
