COVID-19 has significantly affected the business world and for months almost all organizations were closed. A significant impact of COVID-19 can be seen in the design or structure of the organization (Seetharaman, 2020). However, the impact of COVID-19 cannot only be observed on the organizational design or structure but in all aspects of the organization. Many of the organizations have been found saying WFH (work from home) is not possible and they were not allowing their human resources to work from home citing loss of efficiency and productivity. But now work from home is a new normal and every company is allowing its human resources to work from home. Due to the new normal, the job scenario will undergo significant changes. The organization will change many rolls while some roles will be redefined. Every organization is trying to move towards digitalization as it helps the organization to keep its operation and functioning smooth. Digitalization also helps the organization to maintain a high level of customer satisfaction, offering many services at just touchpoint, and getting real-time feedback. It has also been found that the global pandemic has significantly affected the hierarchy and hence many of the organizations have avoided hierarchical organizational structure in order to cope with the changes made by the pandemic (Ding et al., 2020). The process of talent acquisition has also been changed and layoffs are happening everywhere.
